First 10 minutes are an awesome watch, I really enjoy Anarchid's style.

Rover player has to work so much harder than Hover to break even - juggling dart, scorcher and fencer, which all have different speeds and use cases, seems barely sufficent to cope with dagger monospam. I could feel the struggle to find a Rover solution to endless Dagger as the unit density increased. Ripper/Wolverine turned out to be no solution at all.

Not sure Dart was worthwhile, probably just scorcher/fencer would be stronger.

Agree about the darts. Scalpel has such a nasty AoE - Did you catch the moment it killed 2 scorchers in one? And you can't miss all the scalpel dart clearing.

Definitely why fencer/ripper -> badger is the way to go.

Scalpel is absolutely absurd, and has always been. Back a year ago dart scorcher could at least kill them, but even after the recent buff the dps on Scorcher is still nowhere near enough to do it. Perhaps Scalpel could have less tracking, does it really need to reliably multikill Darts?

Ripper/Fencer and Ripper/Badger have the problem of being extremely slow (compared to raiders, which are the problem here) both in moving on the map, and in actually applying damage. The first means it is very difficult to be not outmaneuvered by the enemy, and the second means the enemy has a lot of time to try to catch you out of position before the investment even pays off.

There's also an entirely different problem is that while Godde monospams Dagger, he can also switch to Bolas with ease, which cares for Fencer even less.

But also, watching this, a lot of actual positioning and decision mistakes could have been avoided if i was less asleep :P

You're totally right about the speed issues EErankAdminAnarchid. The maddest part is that where rovers needs ripper, for hover, massed daggers is a Riot unit - just a very fast, splittable one with the tiny downside of lower durability and vulnerability to AoE.

More pertinent still... I'm finding that the recent pre-emptive targetting upgrade was disproportionately in favour of Dagger due to instant alpha DPS, in contrast to a scorcher who would typically be aiming anyway during it's most important phase, getting in close enough to actually matter. It means daggers can now burst another unit or defensive structure down even more quickly than before. Perhaps even before it has a chance to respond meaningfully.

You combine that with the minor time-to-field improvements given by factory plates and well... We're back to a high raider meta again. And yes SErankGodde, "inb4 everyone calls you a raider spammer" was very reflective of the true meta in high rank 1v1. Raider mania and shieldbots OP.
