My suggestion is to do a bit of research on the website about "Intermittent Fasting". The chosen two days of the week are dedicated to only drinking water and no food. I tried it 3-4 times and even if I felt hungry, my body was doing fine and I felt great.

Another good piece of advice is to never eat anything past 5 PM since the metabolism starts to slow down because of your desire to sleep. Its also indicated to have your last meal 2 hours before sleep, because of the same principle.

Please don't try intermittent fasting if you see it's not good for you. Some bodies can't handle the fast changes and because of that, you might derail your metabolism. My body for example is used to instant changes in diet and that's the reason why I do it 2-3 times in 6 months, tho my idea is to do it at least 1 day per week in the future.

What do you want to achieve? From what I have seen around, time limited diets (I will do this for X time) generally do not result in a change on longer time (like after 3*X time), unless there is some lifestyle change as well. I mean if in November you plan to do the same as "before" might not be ideal.

Best success I have seen without big lifestyle changes was after a couple I know went and took some (not sure how to call them) advices/discussions with a nutritionist that helped them select different food they ate and explained them some stuff. They still ate similar quantity/were generally happy with quality, but it was different products/different combinations/etc and they felt better/were leaner. They complained only it was a bit more expensive overall but they could afford so...

Good luck attaining your goals sometimes biology is hard to control!

If you fast because you want to lose weight, you should still supply protein to your body.

Fasting for detox is usually not something that exist, an exception would be if your diet is exceptional worrysome (a tea spoon of lead a day and having an asbeston plate), but then a more normal diet would have the same effect.
For dieting, really don't do that, the body will only think that starvation times are common and put extra effort into having plenty of fat for such times.
For losing weight aim to slightly be under your upkeep, with your mentioned weight, 2000kcal a day is already a diet you will lose weight with. Extra weight means extra food upkeep. (If you are particular lazy, as i am, you may eat a bit less too). Yes you will lose weight a bit slower then with fasting, but you won't gain it back.
An additional thing to keep in mind: in your colon is a biom of bacteria living in symbiosis with you. They are necessary to properly digest your food (and avoid all sorts of digestion issues). They also keep harmful bacteria away (bacterias are very anti immigration).
Doing fasting means they starve too and since unlike you they got no fat to live on, many of them die. That is the reason behind the "no solids" thing, people just commonly ruin their bacteria to the point that they can't digest normal food for a while sometimes. Yoghurt helps to replenish some common ones. If you look it up, you can find food they like (often healthy stuff, well, they developed to fit the diet of humans that were healthy and survived). Having a healthy biom helps with getting the best out of your food, fighting digestion issues and general health

Also in case you are <25 (age the body is surely done with growing), you may stunt your growth a bit. Mind that the body also needs minerals and stuff, so with the vitamin pill (still a good idea) you probably had it feed on your bones...
Sadly i can't claim to be an expert, but my mother did cover a good bunch of that back then in school and a got a bunch of close people with an eating dissorder or two, so had to read up a tad.
That aside, thanks for the numbers and information.

Autophagy: cellular and molecular mechanisms

Abstract

Autophagy is a self-degradative process that is important for balancing sources of energy at critical times in development and in response to nutrient stress. Autophagy also plays a housekeeping role in removing misfolded or aggregated proteins, clearing damaged organelles, such as mitochondria, endoplasmic reticulum and peroxisomes, as well as eliminating intracellular pathogens

Conclusions

autophagy is more widely accepted as beneficial given its role in eliminating ‘toxic assets’ and promoting cell viability. Thus, autophagy has emerged as a new and potent modulator of disease progression that is both scientifically intriguing and clinically relevant

Sorry, i was so far, only informed about the more... alternative approach to detox you can read in 35+ female magazines that will also promote homeopathy and if you got a really fancy one, even light (as in sun) diet.

"Autophagy is known to induce cell cycle arrest and, while it appears that this may be largely driven by nutrient deprivation-induced inhibition of TOR activity"
Not sure if the nutrient deprivation makes the whole thing worth, but definitly a rather curious concept, thanks for linking it

Here it is a literature review from 2019 (more recent than the 2010 paper you linked): https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6678135/, with a nice table summarizing both positive and negative effects: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6678135/table/cells-08-00674-t001/. Based on the table for me it sounds there are both positive and negative effects, depending on multiple other factors.

To make a ZK example: just because a strategy worked in one battle, that's not proof is smart to always do that...

I think you will achieve real detox result just by quitting smoking.
