When i use attack move , unlike attack command , the order stays , so if i tell some units to go towards enemy area than click near base they change target , and that makes it harder to use that command , even if i press 1 to change to my com as a way to deselect he still has the attack move on

Yes that stops the command true , but i mean : how to deselect the command while the command stays in effect , just like attack command , i tell my units to attack other units , than i do whatever i want (vs attack move when i give the command still after the attack move is still on and if i press anywhere on the map the units will change direction)

Or to make it clearer .... if i use attack move with a unit , and now i want to select a con (without making that unit move towards my con) ?

the attack move stay until they reach the location you point with it, if they engage an enemy before, they will do that then go back to their attack move command after done

Yes , that is how it should work , But the issue is , that after i give the command to the unit to attack move on enemy area , than i click on another area , it changes the target of the attack move .... and it even changes if i press on one of my units

so for a spesific example : im on left side of map , i press on a scorcher , than i press attack move and click on right side of the map ..... than socrcher starts to move to the right .... but if after that i press on left side of the map than the scorcher changes its target and moves to the left to wherever i clicked ... and even if i click on another unit i have like a con than the scorcher would move towards my con

What you are describing is the ideal situation of attack move , without the issue that i am talking about

Oh... then I usually stop holding [SHIFT]... then it stops.... Weird. I 'm not going to return to Zero-K soon, don't ask me to test this.

If you open notepad and just press the letter A, how many As are typed? One, or does it keep typing multiple As automatically?

It sounds like your letter A is sticky.
For fun you may want to bind attack move to a different key and see if the behavior is the same.
Or you may even want to try a different keyboard.

I don't know accessibility features very well, but it sounds like there is something turned on that automatically repeats inputs.

I checked in notepad and the "a" button is not sticky there or anywhere else , so i do not think its a "sticky" a button issue , i dont have a "Sticky" problem with any other key on my keyboard as well

also dont have a "sticky" issue with move command , cap mexes command , attack command, (with all its variations) or any other command of zero k that i noticed .... only issue with attack move

I had tested your theory in game , and when i dont press a , but press only the button itself it does solve the problem, so i did change the button to q and it works great with no issue

This is great , thank you

Though now i still wonder whats the deal with the a button cause i have zero issues with it in other places (like typing here or notepad or search or anywhere else) , also i do like a button for attack move so it would be nice if i manage to figure out what my issue with button a is (for game and in general)

* Later edit to anyone who might not read further than this : after playing a full game with a different button used , apparently the issue was not with the a , so problem still exists ***

The only thing I have to suggest right now is to rebind attack-move to A and try with a different keyboard, just rule out hardware.

I don't really know any feature that repeats or holds letters. The accessibility features I am aware of make command keys like SHIFT easier to use.

According to your description, the attack-move command is re-issued and not queued, or your units would keep stacking orders instead of constantly replacing the last one. Outside of a physically faulty keyboard, I am not aware of any feature that repeats letter or number keypresses outside of either hardware issue, programmable keyboard or macros.

Problem still continues the same as before ...

After playing my first full game 1v1 (not just check in single player like before) game started with new keyboard and it seem to work great like i first checked , and wow it made the game much easier , i was wining match despite having not the greatest expansion , but than the new key i assigned attack move to (Q letter button) it became just like a button was before .... and i didnt press the button hard or anything ( i dont press buttons hard so i dont think i ruined it ) .... more than that : i didnt press it many times even ... i just used the attack move command every few minutes tops (not seconds even) maybe used it 2-4 times before it messed up ... (so just saying its not that i pressed hard the new button and ruined it too , and not that i pressed it many times causing some sticky effect , and i dont have any issue with typing letters anywhere or any keyboard issues only issue in zero-k)

I started another single-player game to check , and problem with Q still exited ... so i changed it after that to Y and it fixed the issue ... than i changed it back to A ... and it worked great (but will soon probably happen again) .... so i wonder if the key to solve this relates to this fact that changing keys fixes this for a few seconds before it returns (but again i dont press any button hard or many times and my keyboard functions great)

So it seems the problem is not with my "a" button .... but i still have the attack move being sticky problem sadly

(though now its worse cause i seen the potential of attack move - and man 1v1 are much more stressful without it)

OK PROBLEM SOLVED ! :) woho :)

The problem was that i was clicking too long on the a button .... but i didnt really press it long time at all , anything other than a short click will make this "sticky" thing ... and because up to now every time i use the attack move command to draw a line it became "sticky"

so the solution is just to click one time attack move ... than draw the line after you click it not during !

(if anyone wonder how i figured it out , i just played a bit with the attack move a few times , and suddenly noticed that while the bug appears after a few seconds (which is when i start drawing a line instead of just click on other side of map) it also goes away sometimes and sometimes not , so i concluded it must be somehow related to how i click on it , and just started to use it many times and clicking on random places again and again untill it came to me its the time of clicking on the a button that causes this issue)

Thank you for all the help to try to solve this issue for everyone who gave advice here and in the game chat
