It would be really cool if there was a tower defense mod where enemies just go towards an endpoint on the map, and you terraform walls/paths + make units to stop them.

your in luck its called chickens. i also modified them to turn them back into normal zk units

would you like me to remove there ability to climb walls and give you a ploppable energy that you need to defend?

yeah I was thinking they would NOT be able to:
- climb walls
- burrow
- fly
- shoot back/deal damage

you would need some way to prevent the player from making the route the enemies take impathable

sounds easy

ill modify chickens to make the units.. they have a long delay self destruct then they do a large quake flatten.. i can make them target only the super singu.. it will be a ploppable mex the only one you can make.. it will be your eco and the ai target. most of the code is already done but i wont have time today

Good idea, though perhaps instead of quake flatten they should do the skuttle/tacnuke detonation or a ultimatum shot, otherwise ppl can still block the path with units/statics.

took a long time so wont be ready today but i solved it by modifyying fellons so they build up and if a ball of them exists they share regen and then fire a rediculous map wide flatten.. if you block them they will flatten whole map.. no more reason to block them in

the mod is not yet finished but is moving forward.. i just need to finish tweaking fellon..

as of now its untested and probably broken but i made a mod page and will work on it when i can

feedback (no rush to fix, just mostly notes):
- I think global illumination + 0 terraform cost is useful
- I got killed by Chicken Spires (arty) which does deal massive damage
- Singu getting destroyed doesn't end the game

But I think the main issue is that it's kinda obvious Stardust spam + Faradays get you really far so there's not much interestingness in defense choices :( Perhaps tower rebalancing can fix this IDK...

no problem.. i didnt even finish making the fellons flatten the map when trapped =P

ill make the singu do more damage = done

ill add free terra = done

and global los = done

and terra near enemies = done

and fellon flatten map.. wip
