Lobster Roll: INTO THE POT

This week we are holding an Arcadian tournament this week! This means you can only enter if your rank is Silver OR Casual Ladder rank below 2400 at the time of signup. We will verify ranks against the leader board the day prior to the tournament. (This means a few blue players on the edge will be eligible)

Due to disallowing blue and purple rank players to play this time around, we ask that you either record or stream matches to provide commentary and insight on the gameplay for VoD review purposes if you wish to contribute in some way.

You can either sign up below or on the Challonge page this time, either is valid.

The tournament will be held at 1200 EDT, May 3rd (Sat.) 2025. Please arrive 20 minutes early for check in procedures (IN DISCORD FROM NOW ON!).

General Schedule (All in EDT):

NOON - Tourney Begins
4PM - Swiss ends, 30 minute break prior to top 8.
4:30PM - Top 8 Begins
7PM - Tournament concludes.

EDIT: We have added 50 dollars for second place, bringing the total prize pool to 150 dollars!

This one will features several fixes to past issues from the series, so please read the rules here if you have any questions.

For those who are new:

Maps are striked in a banning process from a map pool (winner of !flip is player 1 for purposes of striking), and then the player who wins a !flip if game 1, or loser of the previous game if games 2 or 3, picks a map from the remaining (unstriked) stages.

The order goes:

p1-p1-p2-p2, p1 pick - for game one.

Games after game one - the winner of the previous game bans three maps from the pool, and then the loser picks a map from the remaining options.

Due to time issues, we are slightly reworking the format to increase getting to play against more unique opponents this time, as well as speeding up the preliminary phase of bracket. Swiss rounds are now Bo1, followed by Double Elimination Bo3. Grand Finals is Bo5.
