Can't enable console for cheats.

So I've created the devmode.txt in the installation folder. That's now given me the developer settings. Problem is, when I'm in the lobby in single player/skirmish, the game won't start. It's showing the map is available (green tick), but the game is not available (red cross)

I'm probably doing something wrong.

Have I missed something?

Could we have more information? Based on your post, you're not even at a place where a console for cheats would exist, in the lobby. Are you following along with a guild like https://zero-k.info/mediawiki/Zero-K:Developing#Modifying_the_game or a guide like https://zero-k.info/mediawiki/Mod_Creation? Or do you just want the ability to use !cheats or /cheat in game, which would be more like looking at this page https://zero-k.info/mediawiki/Cheats ? When the Cheats page mentions a console, it's just referring to game chat, which will accept console commands contextually.
