1@1:20 Strategy: Decision to attempt commander pick is a high-risk high-reward move not in line with intent to achieve map control. It failed, but also even had it been a tactical victory possible strategic failure due to letting Sarathos gain control bot. This was an unwise engagement, lost, which also left RadP with insufficient material to hold mid.
2@2:00 Allocation: This many solars is wasted metal if I'm not setting up a forward repair post, and the bad cmdr positioning both allows a pyro through and means I have no frontline.
3@2:30 Awareness: The bombers that eventually kill me are visible around this time sniping allied commander. Failure to notice this leads to my own death as well.
4@3:40 Allocation: Scythe runby liable to be attempted again. Minimal wind turbines would create a detection line here, and faradays at fac could prevent the inevitable fac snipe attempt.
5@3:40 Allocation: Continued production of raiding/map control units against an increasingly porcing enemy is unwise. Scythe metal could have bought me a minotaur, a stardust, and a caretaker, with which the line could have been effectively held. Blitz/kodachi just lacks the staying power against this much material disadvantage.
6@4:00 Allocation: Cornea is premature. For a cornea to be maximally effective, I need at least one scary unit that can hide under it. This also arguably results in my commander snipe, since my commander appearing exposed is likely to draw attention of an enemy air player looking to snipe commanders. (Possible future bait? To consider.)
7@5:45 Control: The bombers were spotted early enough here I could have done something, but I failed to set my commander to hold fire, leaving me uncloaked, which resulted in my death.
8@6:25 Strategy: Kind of ridiculous that I had to lose my commander to decide to kill their commander, and it wasn't even a good trade. Waiting for the minotaur would have let me clear this position with ease.
9@7:50 Strategy: Failure to anticipate glaive rotation. Crowbar is competent enough to do it.

The lack of a minotaur in the midgame really hurt here.

Personal note: When encountering players with specific repeated gimmicks e.g. scythe runbys, Krow rushes, minute 1 nukes, etc., it may be worth bringing back the old DoK approach of noting those peculiarities in a googledoc and then referencing my opponents in-game to prepare blind counters.

Personal note: One thing I am not doing is I'm not accounting for the wild difference in skill levels across opponents. In this case, fighting Sarathos with Sakuraz nearby is much different than fighting Sakuraz with Sarathos nearby- I should assume that, at minimum, silver players and up will rotate to their next immediate neighbor lane to capitalize on local value disparities. This may actually encourage attempting to bleed out stronger players first to limit their ability to rotate. Something to consider.
