Zero-K on OS X 10.8?

Does anyone successfully play Zero-K on Mountain Lion?
I have been playing on OS 10.6 for a long while w/o issues. I have tried to get a friend to play with me, but it seems to crash mid-game for him on his 10.8 machine. The infolog.txt suggests it's a UDP network error.
Before I asked for help, I first wanted to know if
anyone
is able to run ZK on 10.8 flawlessly?
Thanks

I also get the midgame crash often on my macbook, which is either lion or mountain lion.

infologs of the crashes seem to be at the same point in the code ... something libboost related? I was wrong about it being UDP, i didn't read carefully enough:

This spring-forum thread looks much like the error my friend is getting, so I've queried there, but i'm still interested in how any/all people run Zero-K on OS X, and if it works for them.
If someone out there is running ZK fine on 10.7/10.8, that'd be very useful info.
