I see we have a light shield device but i dont see a heavy shield device. Why is it named a light shield when its the only shield there is? Is there a heavier version of the aegis coming?

No heavier version coming that I know of. It is called 'light' because there was a heavier version that was removed as shield link can make a few light shields into a large one so there was a lot of role overlap.

I think we should add large shields again.

There is some role overlap, but what is if we use the exterior ability for one version?

Or that this large shields only protect you against Berthas?

Make a strong shield recharge device :)
* 5 times as expensive in metal and active energy consumption.
* recharge 4 times faster
AND
(
* has exterior + double size
OR
* enable exterior on near shields, resize them to 1.5x and has no own shield - only link to them.

Large/heavy shields should be slightly larger and instead of stopping projectiles, they should stop enemy units from entering. As they tried to get in, the shield's energy would slowly increase.

IMO please don't change the name "light shield" into just "shield", it is already good. The shield is not strong and it doesn't stop heavy fire, it is already a weak shield. When I first played ZeroK: I knew from the name that this shield is not invincible (it is self-descriptive/honest name).
