renaming bug

Jasper 12 years ago I renaming myself to [Troll]Jasper which worked fine however. When I tried renaming to the correct [TROLL]Jasper it bugged up. I can still log here as [Troll]Jasper but cant log as any of the below in the spring lobby. I think Zero-k may have had an update while I was renaming. [Troll]Jasper [TROLL]Jasper Jasper +0 / -0

Jasper 12 years ago this guy also seems to be having this bug http://zero-k.info/Forum/Thread/651 Having to change my name to play planet wars really pisses me off. Can't the tag be generated by the zero-k lobby? Now I cant even log bleh. +0 / -0
Licho 12 years ago Contact aegis in lobby, channel "#sy", usual name "Lunixbochs"... It happens due to his great idea of having names case insensitive + rename bug. Explain your problem to him (regarding SL logins) +0 / -0

[V]noir 12 years ago Consider this bug more frequent then. It just happened to me too. I tried to change from [v]noir to [V]noir and there the bug happened. +0 / -0

Licho 12 years ago jasper, the bug deleted your account, id is 1165 .. aegis will have to recreate account with same ID and fix the bug. I sent him PM you can do so too and wait for his response. +0 / -0
[V]noir 12 years ago Well, as of 15 minutes ago I was able to log into my account, tried to change my name back to noir[REOT], got locked out again. My idea was if I need to change [v]noir to [V]noir to play pw, I'll need an intermediate name. Got locked out as soon as I typed /rename noir[REOT]. =( This whole rename thing wouldn't be so bad if it weren't so buggy. I'm getting a bit frustrated at this point. +0 / -0

Licho 12 years ago Noir perhaps you rename to existing account and there was no warning, so it failed to log you in. Try your pre-rename account - you can change it in settings. +0 / -0
