Explosions render bug

With LUA shaders on, every time when an explosion big enough (DDM, nuke) happens, an expanding, non-transparent circle is drawn from its center. Videocards are two Radeon HD7970 in crossfire. Bug occurs on every single Catalyst version I've installed for last 1.5 years. Crossfire mode (even disabling it completely) does not affect the bug.

Unfortunately, last of mentioned drivers (12.8) also had this glitch, not to mention that thread is 16 months old and all of the mentioned drivers will have issues in newer applications.

I don't know then. Does it work fine with LuaShaders turned off?

I have this, too, also on ATI GFX. Unfortunately, the engine devs refuse to fix bugs related to these graphics cards.

It works, but significant amount of gfx effects is missing that way.

That's sad to hear. Such a strange NVidia vendor lock-in especcially considering that Spring engine is an open source project.

They say they don't have any related hardware to test it on (and also refuse to acquire any).
That said, if it's LuaShaders, is there any way of fixing it from ZK end?

That looks like the situation in which the lups shockwave distortion would appear. Go into lups.cfg and disable distortions or just shockwave.

Yes, it's caused by the distortion shading. Now, i unfortunately won't have access to my ATI GFX PC for 4 weeks, so i can't investigate this any further...
