ZK 2v2 tournament on 19 april 2014

The second 2v2 tournament of the year is scheduled for April 19 20:00 UTC. Registration closes on April 19 00:00 UTC.

Rules are following:
- First map of each round is predetermined, following maps will be selected by loser of previous game.
- Finals are best of 5, all other matches (including bronze match) are best of 3.

Bracket will be seeded by team ELO.

Map info. First maps of each round are the following:
Round 1: Trojan_Hills_v02
Round 2: Ravaged_v2
Semifinals: Desert Needle Small 3.1
Third place match: Green Comet Basic
Final: Eye_Of_Horus_v2

Note that these are the maps only for the first games of every round. After the first game the team that loses gets to choose a map for the second game. After the second game, the team that lost the second game can choose a map for the third game (unless the bo3 is over due to one team winning both games). The only limitation is that the chosen map has to be in the featured team game or 1v1 map pool.

There are no ELO restrictions, any team can participate.

There are kudos prizes, 75/50/25 kudos respectively to both players of the first, second and third place teams.

I would like to take you up on that kmar, although I don't think I have a good mic for skype/mumble. I'll try to buy one beforehand, but if you'll have me as a partner I'll join you in combat.

A modoption to get multiple comms even in a 1v1 scenario would be epic. :)

It would be funny, sure.

The problem is that it might be more beneficial for someone like Godde to play alone with 2 coms rather than play with another player, depending on who would be his teammate. It wouldn't really be a 2v2 tournament any more if several high level players decide it's optimal for them to play alone.

At least for now signing up a team requires 2 players.
