Why is it so fast, and so beefy? None of the gunships can beat it. Banshees cant keep up, and with their tiny DPS are getting beaten, rapiers are even slower. Tridents? c mon, they barerly move. There is no way to pevent early com napping when u are GS as well.

I'm going to just reiterate that being able to pick up enemy units with a transport is exactly the kind of *A misfeature that I would think ZK could leave on the dustbin of history. Yes, it's easily avoidable by keeping the target of the kidnapping moving, but still... if you can easily avoid it, why include it other than punishing newbies who don't know that?

Oh, commadner can be easly prevented from moving by 3 gnats. And they will emp commander faster than banshees or rapiers can kill them.

any riot/raider unit nearby, or even 2-3 llt will kill a vindi before it can pick up the commander, let alone some dedicated mobile AA units also since when are gunships=planes in the air vs air game?

I think people need to understand that com nap works only when you have som1 helping you rush it in the first minute. After the first minute the tactic fails. If you want something to blame do it on your lack of scouting and air player that sleeps. End of story...also remember that few players know how to make this tactic work even if its so easy. I think i am the most experienced player in this tactic from zero-k, so take notice the things i mentioned here. Also i remember you making 3 banships to counter my tactic...instead of that try 2 defenders, 1 roach, 1 tick or other stuff.

the best anti-gunship gunship AA unit is the gnat, if you are really hard pressed vs comm-napper, just make a few of them. they are fast enough to intercept and stun out a vindicator

NO! IT IS ME! :) It is super easy to counter comnap if u scouted it. Like Kyubey said, make a few llts or defenders and wait for 500m to be delivered.

I suggested banships to be buffed or something. They dont make cost for the metal investment. A 220 m unit dies fast to a few defenders and thats unfair. At least make it moar fast and a bit more hp. Countering my vindicator with your banships failed because you didnt try to kill the slow moving gnats. Vindicator is way faster and its clearly why we need it to be, its a transport!

Now now dont make false claims just because you raged at 1 game where i rushed 1 vindicator and 3 gnats and intentionally naped your commander first. This is the life, it just happens, get used to it, the situation can be repeated:D.

An issue related to the Vindicator: Once it kidnaps a com, Most units (AA included) cant shoto at it. Ive had people exploit the by kidnappping my com, then proceddeing to slowly kill my fac and everythin else while I cry.

"once it kidnaps a com, Most units (AA included) cant shoto at it" Thats a lie from what i saw, i always find my vindicator with less than 50% hp when naping 1 commander that had a few glaves, a lotus and other allies helping him. Its just i move fast and you cant micro the the attack command on vindicator. I never keep vindicator idle while commander is stunned by gnats, i always move it to make targeting harder, thats why you think you cant target it. Gnats take most of the aa dmg, its clear fact.
