Is there a version without the meteors and aliens? Otherwise it would not get featured in zK anyway, if it even should works. (meteors must be completly gone, zkl has no mapoptions)

Would it be enough to set meteors and aliens to disabled by default?

The OTA map, on which this is based and shares the heightmap with, also has meteors that can not be turned off.

Where there are icebergs, there is water. It's hard to argue against that. Also you cannot have a strait without water.

Would work, but maybe check whether zK sets mapOptions to default values or to nil.

Or in my opinion leave the meteors, then map will be tagged 'silly' (=not featured) but who cares, it is more interessting map that way and maybe players still randomly find it. Btw alien-units might be problematic if their movedefs do not exist in zk.

They are spherical and too large, don't know if I would call them buggy.

I don't remember if I made them that way or they are like that because of an engine change.

How about making an updated Zero-k version. This map is often played in ffa.

Fixing the ice colvols is easy, but the heightmap should also be smoothened.

The problem is that spring water is transparent, so all the ugly things on bottom are showing. The islands have all a small plateau so that kbots can walk out a bit into the water, but the border shows as really ugly of you zoom out.
