Alcur 45 days ago This is a new random map. Sorry, I haven't cleaned up the code yet. :P +7 / -0
PLT_Godde 45 days ago Cool map! The lowground middle makes central pushes a bit weaker even though all the mexes are running through the center which is good I think. The side mexes are basically unpathable for rovers, tanks and hovers. Most map gens favor bots anyway, so maybe that is fine. The bumpy terrain also slows bots which makes it more defensible though which might be fine. Personally I don't mind the high amount of mexes near the start because raiders still have the opportunity to punish greed and force out defenses in the first minutes of the game. +3 / -0

Steel_Blue 45 days ago I appreciate that there's no endless infinite expanse back line. +1 / -0
Knightshade 34 days ago https://zero-k.info/Battles/Detail/2508999? Bug with mexes stacking. Also generally not a fan of the bumpiness on the sides- this feels like it's already very strongly a center push map, and making the flanks incredibly annoying and difficult to maneuver through only reinforces that. +2 / -0
Alcur 33 days ago (edited 32 days ago) Thanks for the bug report. No thanks for "holy fuck, I hate this map". Yeah, I intend to make the rough terrain different and easier to cross based on the angle of entry. +0 / -2
Knightshade 32 days ago (edited 32 days ago) That "holy fuck I hate this map" wasn't something I was specifically directing at you, and honestly I was considering not giving you a bug report because of it, that was frustration with how the design of the corners was playing out. I like maps that encourage maneuver, and I was frustrated that the map was even more center push oriented than I originally thought. In the future I will refrain from sending bug reports. +0 / -0

crowbar 19 days ago B2518220 28 on Endless Hydra Delta Basins v0.51 The two geos were unbuildable without terramorfing them. Btw I always lag a bit on this map, especially when looking at hills, any ideas regarding this problem? +1 / -0
Alcur 19 days ago (edited 19 days ago) Thanks, I've fixed the geothermal spots because I've flattened the starting areas' regions that are supposed to support building. Currently, I have no idea why you lag on the map. Do you lag on other random maps? +0 / -0
crowbar 18 days ago No, I don't lag on any other random map. I did some testing with bots and it seemed normal this time, might just be due to the number of players or units on the field. +0 / -0
