Is this a good FFA map? Doesn't look like that to me, to be honest. But haven't played it FFA either, so perhaps I just don't 'get' it.

I guess if everyone started on an island it would be okay? Kind of reminds me of the Total Anihilation map with the ships, like the really huge map.

Seems like a nice 4 way FFA if you start on islands and a 6 way FFA if you start in sea. By the way, it's best played east vs west similar to CCR.

EvW is a more air/hover game, while NvS is more ship-oriented game, I find.

Dont you find playing ships EvW, the rush distances are too short?

I think people have to be more careful EvW, that very much boosts teamplay, even if players do not notice instantly. The distance effectively increases when people spawn behind hills and because of wider starting boxes have to look for the enemy first. Also think spawns are more fair with a vertical split.

I doubt different splits affect air/hover parts in any way.

Could probably do with an asymetry tag, south has more elevated land available at the start, and their islands look much more defensible vs hover/amphib raids.

Maybe because the water reflections look nice and it has some interesting terrain. Compare that to all the comet maps.

I wouldn't like to play competitivelyduckspam on it though.
