I remember playing a game here. It requires quite a bit of awareness on all sides. The crater mexes are very important and not accessible by bots.

It's a map for XTA, and the crater mexes (that produce more) + crater geo are meant to be hard to get. However, when played east vs west, the craters are immediately accessible for jumpcom, jumpbots, or spiders.

This map might play interestingly SW vs NE though, since players couldn't start right next to a crater.

Had to unfeature because it recently desynced for 2 people. Revisit this if there was a different cause or remake make.

Most mexes are less than 1.0. Because of the larger size, this typically ends up being picked for big games. The metal is just too low for this. That might be almost acceptable (for smaller games) if not for the fact that the craters are jump/spider/air only.

All arguments for featuring this map are trumped by desync. But feel free to argue with sak about gameplay with the understanding that nothing is happening unless anyone fixes the desync.

Note to self - release a new version of the map which hopefully doesn't desync.

I could look at increasing the metal too, slightly. Low metal maps aren't bad, but this one's really starved.

BA only has air as primary T1 facs.
This map wasn't even designed for spiders and jumpers, but air!

I really like maps with wide spread metal spots, because that leads to defended spots and less porc lines.

I never had a desync here. But I know SinKitty desync's here. A month or two ago he desynced in two games.
