The controls of your Maelstrom didn't make sense anymore. The speed was wearing off, and you were crashing hard. You had flow too close to the sun. You pounded angrily at the keyboard in anger before passing out.
While you were sleeping, you dreamt horrible nightmares of keyboard keys flying at you, zooming around you, firing missiles, drones, and lasers at you.
Three days later you awoke in the hospital a changed man.
Now I am kind of sad that I have such a mainstream nickname :(
Anyway, there is a story related to origin of it, and I am sure, you will come up with something. ;)

I'm running Zero-K on Lenovo Ideapad Y470 with Window 7. That should explain my computer spec better.

If you copy the infolog to us it would definitely help us discover what is crashing. What video card do you use?

Maybe try using the following commands ingame to disable some things:
/advunitshading
/advmapshading
/dynamicsun

Leyvaten: Das bedeutet, dass die Engine (Spring) abgeschmiert (crashed) ist. Den Grund dafür gilt es jetzt herauszufinden, falls du das noch nicht geschaft hast (du hast das Problem vor drei Tagen erwähnt, allerdings erst vor zwei Tagen eine Runde gespielt). Ich schlage vor, dass du im Chat nach Hilfe fragst, falls das Problem weiterhin besteht.
Wäre toll, wenn ich euch alle mal in richtigen Spielen (im MULTIPLAYER Tab) sehen würde! Besonders dich, DJ_Dragon. :P

Matze: Naja, du ladest dir den Clienten - http://zero-k.info/lobby/setup.exe - loggst dich ein, klickst auf SINGLEPLAYER, suchst dir eine Mission aus, klickst dann auf "PLAY NOW" und wülst dich durch das Spiel. Oder du trittst einer Multiplayerrunde bei und fragst ob da jemand Deutsch kann und dir ein wenig hilft. :)

So starting mission would involve downloading mision into mods and downloading script and starting spring with path to script as parameter. But its not worth of effort in this case because this mission is basically empty map :-)
Easiest way to play single player skirmish on linux is opening a battle in lobby and adding bot AI (CAI or Chickens)
