5 Just look at the grid color. If two grids have the same or a very similar color it means they do not need to be connected. Also if the grid color is blue or just starting to turn teal don't bother with building pylons unless a Moho or Singu is soon going to be completed and other such special cases. 5 Just look at the grid color.
