In older distributions of ZK one could load spring.exe to try out local changes to maps. Now the spring.exe bundled with ZK returns no content, I assume because of base directory now being called Zero-K instead of Spring.

Chobby will load local copies of maps instead of downloading new ones if you host a custom server, but as soon as you give the map a new name Nightwatch will fail to find it, even though it appears in Chobby map list.
