This game is complete crap! How can these damn raven kill venoms that stand at one point and cost 2000 metal????? Why can't venoms get away from a crow projectile? Why does 1 sling break all my defenses, oh my god, breaking the defense is 7 times more expensive than the unit itself. Why do spiders take insane damage from any building, and damn slings are free to break anything and don't pay for it? All my spot fortifications against glaives were broken with just one sling WTF

Why can't raven kill three glaives in one shot without loss?

Why don't spiders have similar artillery for 100 metal without swapping to another factory that costs 700 metal? 2 slings destroyed 2 spots worth 490 each? Spiders should be doing shit like attacking spots with stingers in the forehead when 1 sling breaks everything without loss

The fact that ravens kill venoms without loss drives me crazy

If raven are so perfect at killing units like venom and recluse, why is there no unit that does the same thing against glaives + ronins with the same properties, i.e. they are guaranteed to shoot at them per shot and fly away to reload without loss? It turns out that the phoenix should do this, but the glaives shoot at the phoenix on its approach and kill it. The raven kills the venom and flies away, the phoenix does not reach the glaives to attack and dies. Shit.

tbf phoneix does seem pretty underwhelming every time I see it...

Why is it more expensive than raven?
Why does it have less hp?

Are skirmishers really that oppressed that phoneix needs to be weak?

Don't think its ever been a dominant unit. Buffs pls?

I am not sure why you would keep your venoms together in a big blob, but if you spread them out into a semicircle, back up at the approaching raven, and as soon as it is about to turn around, start moving forward, you should definitely be able to kill it with that many venoms. Not to mention it should get stunned after 3 shots at the most, making it even easier to kill.

I think that the reason the raven didn't die in the picture you posted is because the venom it is going after is slightly detached from the rest of the blob, And the fact that ravens fly higher now, meaning that very few of the venoms are actually in range, so possibly only two venoms hit it and it got away. Usually spreading your guys out even when retreating is a good idea.

If it still didn't die then yeah that might be a problem. Also tarantulas are pretty good as well.

Yes I would agree. It is very effective against some raiders, but it seems like it is very easy for the enemy to escape with half health units almost every time.
