I like this FFA balance, because IMO it makes more sense to put similar ELO player together than the weakest with the strongest and so on. This keeps it close to "real" FFA, where differences in skill are a part of the game and have to be accounted for.

Ofc it's only fair if the teams all consist of the same amount of players.

Afaik there's no reliably working FFA balance implemented yet -> This is what I'd suggest.

Well me and USrank[I]burp had 2x micro power. That helped a lot!

I feel bad about not telling people we got in same team ( me and USrank[I]burp) but then USrank[I]burp told me "dont do it they will all attack us" and I was sure of that :).

Also even if we were both in same team, if you watch replay ESrankElTorero did a nice job in almost killing us in the start of the game. I just had my commander and 1 swift while USrank[I]burp had only 4-5 conjurers. A small scout and another attack and we were both dead. So each player had 2 commanders from the start. Because of all these I find that the balance was ok in the end. :)
