1) Solar is not bad since it is safe but windgen tends to perform better on this map overall at your spawn. I recommend building 1 windgen first after a mex to CHECK CURRENT WIND, if its good then spam out a few wind to get a small lead then switch to solar if you are actually worried about fluctuations.

2) At 40 seconds you start making a radar which that early is inherently useless since you can use that 55 metal to buy a windgen or 75% of a extractor, the earlier you get your eco the faster you can start profiting.

3) 2 minutes in and you are already E-Stalling, if you plan to grab mexes quickly make sure to have the necessary energy

4) 3 Min you are spamming pickets in mid which are a waste of metal usually. In this game they were useless in protecting mid as 2 recluses killed all of your Mid Mexes anyway

5) When Fac Switching I recommend 2 caretakers atleast, you had the eco for another and near full storage

6) Phoenix imo is a poor choice, better to spam out raven to snipe the recluses since its a guaranteed kill

7) 8:30 min in you are not reclaiming when you could be, more cons!

8) Idle con in your base, could be reclaiming or expanding to left side 8-9 min

9) Your commander is pretty idle often, a HLT would have helped keep that expansion alive

10) Would have been better to snipe eco with scythes instead of duking it out with my force

11) 10:30 E-stall

12) Rover fac? Seems like a waste of metal that you can not afford since you are behind on eco, losing the unit vs unit count is high risk here



Overall your E-stalling and idle con/com really slowed you down and you took a very long time to capture your left expansion. Also you were not really taking advantage of the reclaim field much. It is also worthy to note that you had opportunity to snipe my eco with your scythes yet you did not. Using them to kill my units is pointless since I had a eco lead so its best to lessen it instead by killing my expansions. You easily could have killed at least 1, maybe even 2 if lucky.

Second the early-ish fac switch to planes is not really a good call unless you plan to use it to snipe my fac, caretakers, com ect..maybe even recluses.

Instead you made phoenix which didn't do much. Also you revealed your air too early, I immediately started making tarantulas when I saw it which made your air overall useless the rest of the match. If you can not make the necessary units to defend your base/expansions and use air "Effectively" at the same time then it is usually best not to do a early fac switch.
