Build Battleship.
Refuses to leave the shipyard after completion.
Refuses to return fire while in the shipyard.
Sits there clogging production till it and the harbour dies.
There goes 4550 M

Tbh the whole shipyard is wierd. I see boats get stuck in there quite a bit.

I feel the issue is that a shipyard can be build in shallower water than a battleship can actually move in...
Either reduce the depth that the battleship can move in, or make the shipyard only buildable in DEEP DEEP water.

Well, making it only buildable in deep water would make it harder to enter the water, making contesting the sea even harder than it is now. Could a depth limitation gadget be implemented which only allows you to build appropriate ships for the depth the yard was built at? It wouldn't be terribly intuitive, but it could solve that misstep.

Why not just have your battleship able to enter shallower water? Haven the game intuitive is a good thing, new players do not want to do 10 hours of research just to play. they dont want to sit down, and have a crapload of their things just not work since they havent sat down and researched into why so many things are counter intuitive.

The shipyard already requires deeper water than the battleship.

Until we get a replay it's unlikely we can diagnose the problem further.

What about smaller ships getting stuck inside big ships because the big ship starts being built around the small ship once the small ship is done? Happens in NOTA. Can a small ship trap a big ship?

But @Godde: yes, it can and does happen. Hovers, boats, light vehicles and heavy vehicles happen the most, especially with the size differences from scout units to heavy units.
