I don't know if it is intentional or not, but there seems to be a featured map called "porn_star" in the All-Welcome FFA room. Could someone please remove or at least unfeature it?

The map isn't featured, somebody must have manually set it. You should be able to enter the room and !map to remove it yourself.

Whether the map can be removed entirely is a different question which I'm unable to answer.

I have to ask the obvious: what's the problem with the map? The name? The looks?

We come from different cultures so I recognise that different issues may be sensitive to different people. That said, I think someone may likewise object to the nickname of the OP. I mean, after what happened in San Bernardino.

It doesn't mean I want any of these things, I just want to illustrate that what may seem reasonable to some one may be objectionable to others.

@[ffc]killer triple even.

FIrank[PRO]Jools probably the metalmap.

Hmm for some reason the texture/height/metalmap images are 1:4 (128x512px, 256x1024px and even 256x1025px) while the map itself is 1:2 (map size: 8x16).

Jools, I just think that having a map of someone nude would obviously be a bit of a turn-off for any newcomers. It objectifies women, and isn't very professional. It's just not in very good taste, regardless of culture.

I'm sorry if my name offends anyone. I'm actually very against the flippant possession of guns in the US, and wish that we could be a bit more like European countries in that aspect.

[Honk]I would argue it is actually a turn on for newcomers [\honk]

Porn Star is not featured or supported.

I think the real thing to do here is to prohibit non-featured non-supported maps from being hosted on public hosts.

Damnit and here I was, thinking of idioms such as "Tastes differ." and that customs/conventions (which I think is what you are referring to) are all about culture/tradition. The creator of Venus of Willendorf (CAREFUL! 28'000 years old clay figure with boobs) must've really been tasteless. Just like the creator of duck. Or anybody drawing a stick figure (they almost never draw clothes on them!).

If anything we also need a male Porn_star map to satisfy ZK's gaymers. [political]And to ensure gender equality.[/political]

I love thsoe americans... Compalining about some, basicallyy censored, tits, but creating movies where guy gets his throat ripped, or another one's head gets blown off by a shotgun shell...

I mean, it's not the 1st compalint about ''inproper content'' in ZK, and all of those come from americans...

BTW, plot twist

How about a map which depicts the prophet Mohammed? Then you would actually be able to cause some trouble.

You could argue that the female (as well as the male) body is a natural thing, and that covering it with clothes is in nature offensive, because it's the most natural thing in the world to show. We are all born naked, and we are all equal when we are naked. In a sense. Putting clothes on people divides them into social segments, races, power positions etc. I think there is an argument to come back to what we are, and also dare to show it.

That said, you could criticise the map maker for using a quite unnatural representation of the female body, probably photoshopped a lot to appear thinner, better looking skin etc, all just to suit a western and male stereotype of women, whereas quite few women actually look like that. To be more fair, you should use maybe a slightly overweight woman. Thousands of teenagers starve themselves to fit into to expectations we have on the women, whereas fewer men suffer from the pressure to be fit and thin.

The other issue is with stigmatising the porn industry. Making it a problem does not make it go away, and will only turn it into a grey industry, which does not benefit from socal legislative protection and does not pay taxes. On the contrary, by decriminalising this industry and bringing it into the open, we can work with things like hiv-preventation and human trafficking, all of which are pressing issues of this century.

ZK has no reason to aim for anything higher than "Teen".

Notice how they rate someone who is 17 years old as "mature".

this is a game that centers around robots running around and shooting at each other. I don't think anyone could reasonably object to the name "funwithguns" and still play a game like this, haha

if the map was user submitted, then that is a consequence of allowing users to send any data, whether it be text, drawing on the map, or making maps themselves.
the only debatable thing is whether the staff want to keep it there or not, which would fall into a moderation function.

Sorry for politics connections, but that's how the extreme right wing is being created. Plox, do not.

It's easier for those that don't want to see such content to avoid it, than for those that do want it to get it, if its censored.

We don't want users to avoid our content. If some retard plasters swastikas on all rooms (as has happened numerous times already!) then most people would have to avoid coming to the lobby altogether. Banning them on public hosts is not enough because private hosts also cause giant icons in the lobby.
