Edit: i found that private room can also be done in iodines, but main question is social, not technical.

I don't think you can. IIRC there was once !voteboss but it doesn't seem to exist any more.

I asked because one piece of shit some days ago kicked me twice (there were 6-8 eyewitnesses) after several seconds of my joining to iodine. And that room (and other iodines where that PoS was a boss) had no autobalance.

Public room behaved like private. How is it possible?

(Of course i reported about no-reason kicking, but nothing was done.)

If this is what I think it is, the guy effectively hacked to get himself admin privileges. None of the above seems like intended behaviour.

(Does Iodine have autobalance normally? I don't play much chickens/coop. If he had admin privileges a !start acts like a !forcestart anyway IIRC.)

Why are you so certain the room was public? If it has a boss, no autobalance, and a custom name, it's a private room and the boss can kick whomever he wants.

Admins can boss people on public hosts.

Aquanim, i think same (PoS hacked/exploited), but waited for someone else posted such thoughts.

About that hacked iodines... as i remember, !start could be used by any player, not only by boss (while in private room only boss can start).

And... interesting thing that during previous day's spoiling of a games http://zero-k.info/Forum/Thread/20774 nickname of PoS wasn't in our room(s).

Provide more info about what happened, with details, if you want an useful response.

Are you talking about this one?

YOU HAVE JOINED BATTLE ROOM: Iodine2 - COOP vs CircuitAI

If so, that was a custom (= private) game, and not a public host. If not, do provide more information.

I don't think your posts recently have been true, necessary, or nice. Please stop being at least two of the following: rude, untrue, unnecessary.

That is advice.

Not doing that makes you keeping your posting privileges highly improbable.

That is a threat.

Sprung, i thought that private rooms/servers are only on Springee. But from quick experiment with !spawn now i know that private can be at any server.

Sad that in ZK kicking without a reason (neither in past nor in last minutes before kicking) is not counted as antisocial.

But anyway, if, for example, somebody leases his/her body or performs killing, no matter if it is done in the street or in some room, it is antisocial (and in every place that actions are prostitution and killing).

To clarify, I think if you kick someone from your private room for no reason, that's not bannable. This doesn't mean it's not considered poor form.

There's a subtle difference between "no reason" and "no apparent reason".
