So I play Zero K with my friends and among them I have the worst PC, (laptop) but that doesn't matter right now because when I say freezing I don't mean the game goes unresponsive.
What happens is I cannot select anything, move the camera, command units or anything, but while I cant do that the game is playing with my average FPS. For some reason when I zoom out, or even select a unit this happens, and once it gets to 40 minutes into a battle It gets to the point where (if it was a team battle) I cant even select a unit or this issue will happen and cause all my units to be given to my teammate because of lag, then as soon as that happens I get my units back which only creates MORE lag for me
I have tried lowering icon distance but that barely helps, I have degraded to the worst graphics possible, that helped my FPS but the issue is unchanged by that.
I would say I have a relatively good internet with an average speed of 49 Mbps. and all my friends live in the U.S. with me (3 out of 4 live in the same state.) and I doubt it is desync because it doesn't say I am catching up.
My specs if you think it IS a hardware problem
6GB DDR3 Ram
Intel HD Graphics 4600 (40 month old drivers send help windows wont let me update them because I switched from win 8 to 10)
Intel i3 2.4 GHZ (CPU is not maxing out when I get this issue)
one last thing I am suspicious of is this didn't happen 3 weeks ago it started ever since the update I would say.
