Has anyone here tried ZeroK with Virtual Reality goggles? Does it actually work? If so what type would you recommend? I've been wanting to get some VR goggles for a while but the type will be determined by what works best with some of my favorite games.

That video is killin the dream because of how shaky it is. ZeroK doesn't move with the headset (I'm guessing) so it shouldn't be that shaky. It should be 3d but stable. I was asking more along the lines of: does VR even work with zeroK since I've seen the VR settings in the game? and which set would you recommend the most?

Well I think some adaptive game dev of some sort has to be done for it to be playable in such a fashion as you see in that video. What you can do that I have tried is play it in something like a simulated cinema.
But what do I know.

Ignore PaulBellow's post, it basically sidetracked my original post. Nobody wants to play a RTS like that, so shaky, like a shooter. I'm looking to play zeroK as usual but just if the game knows how to send images to the left and right eye to a VR set. I ask only because I saw the settings in the menu. Anarchid says no VR right now, is this for sure? I'm so itching to buy a set of VR and just looking for an excuse. I would love to be able to see instantly how my units on hills and cliffs relates to the stuff below without having to angle the view up or down. Or watch a nuke blast a ton if stuff into pieces that are sent flying, in 3d. Some day...

The closest Spring has to supporting two renders at different eye coordinates atm is this unmerged (and incomplete) pull request. And i'm not even sure about two-eye rendering, either, it seems more aimed at pokemon-type AR.

Sorry, USrankCaptaintoottoot. Didn't mean to derail your thread.

I agree it was way too shaky and didn't have a zoom? VR is still in early days.

Maybe something like Ender's Game where you're in a fixed position over the battlefield would be better.
