Disney had some good artists that got fired for having darker visions

i just watched the black cauldron and it reminded me of The Secret of NIMH

The Secret of NIMH is i cool dark cartoon about magic rodents that is easy to find for free on u-tube https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLmheWFkK-ELQphc6k7Z60zhSnEeO5BTBc

i understand if this link needs to be taken down.. slightly nefarious. although in this age its meh
you can see most films for free on u-tube if you write p1 after the name

its a bit weird and also a bit childish and some annoying characters because hey that's Disney

The freaky thing is that the rodents aren't magical. They are test rats at the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH). They were given drugs that enhanced their intelligence to that of humans.

...Did you just call The Secret of NIMH a Disney film? It was created by Don Bluth Productions and distributed by MGM.

Disney wasn't anywhere on that one.

To be fair, they might have been referring to Black Cauldron with the "Disney characters" line. Also, IIRC Secret of NIMH was the first film Bluth made after leaving Disney.

Scary Disney themed cartoons from years upon years ago? Can't forget The Brave Little Toaster, also feature length on youtube. I have no idea where this film falls under copyright, but since Disney's name is at least associated with it in some way, I'd figure it's grey at best.

Gurgi would certainly fit "Disney character", but with the Youtube link to The Secret of NIMH and the talk about ex-Disney employees, I assumed they were talking about the Bluth film.

There was also Banjo the Woodpile Cat, released two years before The Secret of NIMH, but that was a 30-minute short film, and began as a side production while Bluth still worked at Disney. Pick your level of pedantry, I guess.

I'm not sure what has happened but I found Secrets of Nimh on youtube in full for free? on the youtube-owned section anyway. so this for sure can't be infringing on copyright.

something weird then probably nimh has no secrets and has been exploited by media. we will find the culprit -_-.

the reason is that so many people create illegal content that nobody can keep up with checking and deleting them

however a moderator may want to caution the provision of illegal material on the z-k forum.. luckily no police care about old disney.. just let the thread die quietly
