I suggest that lobster ability throw enemy units should be removed.

I suggest that it stays as it is. Lobster is the only counter Amphs have for Crabs.

Yes and only amph counter vs coms, ships (siren for example) and other costly heavy units?
Tell me how i can counter such tactics from spider factory? Lets look at sumo who is general counter to crab spires. I can stun it with infis and even kill if i have more units. But this one? What can i do against it? Plz tell me.

I think 2 Venom next to your Crab would stun the Lobster and prevent it from throwing anything.

(It takes 3 Venom hits to stun a lobster though with 1040 hp vs 450 emp damage - maybe lobster should have 900 hp)

So i have to mass venoms near my com, near crab to counter troll move with two cheap lobsters. Great.

that is the kind of thinking that gave us the blastwing...

lobster is fine, its a 500m counter to crab i dont see the problem with what is essentially a skuttle

What counter do spiders have for Lobster? Lobster has too much health to be melted by Redbacks even if you could park them on the Crab. Venoms also not likely to survive.

The Lobster works by forcing a local force superiority. Two lobsters alone can't kill anything even if you managed to lob units, unless you are throwing them into lava or something.

Using two lobster to lob enemy unit towards friendly units rather than friendly units towards enemy ones has the difference of forcing enemy unit in middle of friendly units rather than other way around. The Lobster throwing enemy units is not the problem.

If you really wanted to counter the Lobster, you could park widow next to the CRab and have it stun the lobster before it gets to act. Static defences like Stingers also damage a lone lobbed lobster, although one is not enough.

You are going to have to elaborate on that.

They way i see the blastwing analogy, this is a situation where you need more cost in "pickets" (3 venom) to stop an attack by "blastwings" (2 lobster). I am suggesting to make "pickets" very slightly better at stopping "blastwings" (so that 2 venom are needed rather than 3), to which you counter that nope, nothing should be able to cost-effectively stop the "blastwing"?

Meanwhile LVrankSenaven seems to think that having to use more than zero venom is already unfair.

Thinking out of the box, a well-placed Widow could also work i guess. But its much smaller range means being able to place it perfectly, which is unrealistic.

Its not about having venoms is problem. Problem is that you have to put more resources to counter it then he need to troll you. Your solution dosnet work because they are not so simple. Problem to counter lobster is larger then use it. I even dont talk about crabs. In that game in same manner commander was thrown out and killed. I have ships in such manner killed. And in most cases if lobster thrower looses is jus one cheap lobster while you can loose much more metalz.
Its like with scallop ball with shields. To counter it you need shit everything out but enemy just spam mono scallop ball + shield in sea and most cases gg.

You are still ignoring the fact that it is not the Lobster that kills the Crab, it is the force superiority the Crab is forced to face. Two, three or even five lobsters won't kill a crab. It is the follow up forces that attack the Crab after it has been lobbed in middle of them.

It is plenty relevant. That force superiority is also part of the "cost" that the lobster must pay to be able to kill the crab. If they can afford force superiority, you can afford 3 venom next to crab to stop the lobster from lobbing the crab. Simple as that. Trying to argue that 3 Venoms cost more than one lobster is ridicilous.

Gamers never will play one crab vs two lobsters. There will be units anyway. This game is about positioning and in this case it can be disrupted so easy. And you ignore fact that enemy got reclaim after crab dies in his territory. I dont talk about lubsters who just trolling around with two lobsters.
And its not just about crab throwing. Every heavy unit can be thrown and disrupted with this small and cheap lobster. It can be com who could be thrown.

If 2 venoms are sufficient, then 2 venoms are cheaper than 2 lobsters.

I think other factories may have some similar options.

Maybe not ships though because of how a flying lobster transitions water-air-water.
