how does one make use of the radial build menu ?
when i enable it all i can make it do is the open a 3by3 panel with build options and i navigate with keyboard press.
i have seen players pressing a hotkey and navigating it with mouse by moving in the direction of the desired building in the radial menu, also my menu is square and the mentioned example is atleast 8 faced.
here is an instance of its use by the chosen one

i am imagining myself using a analog stick to move camera around, and also to navigate the radial build menu, would this be doable without writting code, just fiddeling in settings ?
havaing both camera mouvement and radial build menu on keypad joystick with a hotkey toggling between the two

azeron/razer keypad and a mouse packed with macro buttons sound like rts players wet dream (titanwolf is making a fancy modular one)

Under the Gesture Menu settings, there will be a binding called "Open Menu (set a hotkey ->)" which allows you to bind a hotkey (eg, B) to opening the menu, when you have a builder selected.

If "Keyboard only" and "Only open with keyboard" are unchecked, you will also be able to open the menu through right click drag. This does interfere with line move when your selection contains constructors. It's up to you whether this is a tradeoff you're okay with. Regardless of which trigger opens the menu, "Keyboard only" being disabled will allow you to make a selection by dragging a shape with the mouse, which seems to be what you're after.

I don't know how spring interprets analog stick input. Perhaps it would be possible to rebind the shortcuts to actions such as "stick up, stick down, stick up-left, stick down-right", and the like. I don't know if anyone has tried this.
