How to... jump correctly ?

Hello.
I have two questions about jumping.

First, how can I keep a formation when jumping ? My pyros always jump at the point designed as the target of jump. Control key (the key I use to keep formations when walking) don't seem to work.

Second. Sometimes, apparently when i go down a slop (apparently, I said) :
- I run down the slope.
- Without stopping, I select a point where I want to jump (like on top of a group of impalers, because Death From Above is a joy than need to be shared).
- I jump. Note I don't target directly an unit/building as target because Pyros are fragile.
- My units (Pyros or Jacks) continue to run, and dont jump.

What I don't understand ?

You can drag a line and they will jump like that. Perhaps ctrl+jump could be added as formation jump.

Something goes wrong at the "i jump" step.

Zoom in on what happens there.

Thanks. The "drag a ligne for jump" is working.

3 things come to mind:
- your units didn't reload jump ability after previous jump
- your units are too far from the target to perform jump
- the jump is blocked by terrain (see if jump trajectory is green when giving the order.
