Hello. I have just started playing Zero-K this week for the first time. I set the game to ultra graphics and everything looked great. Until today I could see the shadows of my units, buildings, and trees. Now I can’t see any shadows no matter what settings I change. I don’t know why the game changed all of a sudden. There is no light source, no shadows, and my cloaked invisible units have lost their colored glow making them harder to see.

I have tried reinstalling the game, reinstalling my graphics card driver, and rebooting my PC. Nothing has worked so far.

I am running Windows 10 with an AMD Radeon RX 580 graphics card.

Any help would be appreciated as I am really enjoying this game.

Ok I think I figured it out. I turned Compatibility Mode Off and the shadows and lighting came back. I think that's what it was. I also turned off deferred rendering and experimental interface renderer. It could have been any of those.
