moral question..

whats better;

to win as the guy who had a massive army and an overwhelming advantage?

or to win as a very close win that was desperate and an evenly matched struggle?

to clarify im not asking whats better for being a bro.. and how cool it is.. im asking the dirty question.. of what feels better... to feel powerful or just even matched

like i know we all like a good even match.. but do any purple players ever like to dominate a battlefield.. do they get a kick out of slaughter? is this question too dark idk

but it intersts me because on the one hand new players are noobs
but on the other hand they allow weaker players to finnaly become powerful

and if winning is enjoyable and not always a struggle even for new players
then for that to happen noobs may actualy be good for a game..
to allow even new players some chances to win easily

my cat taught me something once, i was like playing pirates with her, and was swashbuckling a plastic rod, and i was like "on guard kitteh", and pointed that plastic at her, and she just started to snuggle and rub her cheeks about it.

conclusion of those events are beyond stellar when you really think about it....

I sometimes play training/ tutorial games with new players and while that can be fun in and of it self, the most satisfying ones are against opponents that really make me work for it.

My ideal oppponent would be someone who wins between 60 and 80% of our games. Strong enough to be beat with effort and smart tactics but hard enough that a win actuallyy has to be earned. (Also, those are the games that make you stronger in the long run, if you ever get beat by smart tactics, dont be angry, just adopt copy and improve)

If you're fighting fair fights then you're failing the planning part of a fight.

I like a shieldball win the best. Where you slowly grow in power until eventually the enemy can do nothing against your overwhelming strength. Usually that means playing very carefully, knowing when to attack and when to retreat and screening properly for snitch. Shields rewards exact play with success and punishes sloppy play with doom. At the start a SB is the same as any other unit but a big SB is equivalent to a paladin or a couple of paladins.

heh yeah shields can be harsh unlike domi that can be countered with flea spam only snitch seems to stop a ball
