Gaslighting is a form of psychological abuse in which a person or group causes someone to question their own sanity, memories, or perception of reality. People who experience gaslighting may feel confused, anxious, or as though they cannot trust themselves.

I came across Durvasulas channel a while ago when I dug myself into psychopathology, but I have to admit that her attitute kind of alienates me.

Compare to:

and, for example:

Not saying that Grande is superiour, it is just that the way he thinks about and presents the topic is a lot closer to how people of this field usually think, talk and act. And I agree with in that: There is enough aggression between people and groups of people already. We should not tolerate it from others, but not from ourselves either.
(And before someone calls me a hypocrite: Yes, I do not have my emotions under control either regularly, but if I could change that, I gladly would.)

also:
I would rather not talk about Peterson, because I do not know his stances in his actual field. I only know his philosophical ideas, and that discussion would pretty sure derail into something against the CoC after a few posts.

- No judgement without prior assessment.
- If you want to know how one could get interested in psychopathology, then look at this forum.

My question would be how you get from a to b?

How did you connect "Gaslighting", "Manipulative People" and "Narcissistic Parents" with politicians? If you assume a politician would be the prime example of those, how do you know that the people that tell you this are not the ones that manipulate you?
