I tried to run Zero-k on a Mac M1 with Parallel desktop latest version.

I successfully launch it through Steam. I can play correctly on little map with not too much people.

On big map with lot of players, it lags too much to be playable.

The only difficult thing on Zerok is that all texts are wiped out.

For unknown reason, we do not see any text and when we see text, it's very strange text

Interesting that it works at all and apparently even syncs (or does it?).

Text issue is likely something hilarious in the interplay of OpenGL's deprecated status on MacOS, Spring using OpenGL, and M1 having "apple custom integrated GPU" for graphics -- Spring has workarounds for various intel and amd gpu nonsence, but none for M1 gpu nonsense.

Running in low graphics mode of some sort could possibly be of limited help.

I confirm that it's possible to play, nevertheless the CPU is extremely low, in a game with more than 16 players, it really struggles after 10 min...
