That's quite nice for your level
If you make smaller defense on a part of your front, you will 'invite' the AI to attack at this spot.
That way it doesn't grow too strong before attacking you, you can get the reclaim, and you can predict where it gonna go.
Also, of course it's not easy, but you can work on expanding more.
