For the curious who wanted to see how my ZK looks like and how it plays (and also because I'm proud of my work :P).
Here a demo I recorded.
Don't expect awesome visual quality, my potato comp wouldn't handle it. My stuff is based on low quality, high performance.

You should also share what widgets you use to get the effects we could see in the demo - they look handy!

Note: funny enough from France, I get some notice from the site (rumble) that I can't access content - I had to see it using VPN. Do you always use VPN...? Or are you able to access it?...

Yes, about France, I did realize afterward french gov restrict access to Rumble. So yea, if you're in France, you will need to pass by a VPN to go to Rumble.

About my widgets, it's a bit complicated, as they are A LOT (several dozens) involved, forming a system together, and several modifying the vanilla one. I cannot just release one, I would have to release the whole lot, basically talking.
There are thousands of hours of works in those, and I'm not quite sure how I should handle this...

I like the solar drag widget, I wouldn't have to worry about straight line/diagonal affect on grid spacing and overdrive. Does it handle blocks in terrain, like tiny bumps that would prevent a solar from building?

Need a widget to scream when you're idling a con, like that one you sent to the South mexes and then forgot about for a couple mins.

I saw him use his select. I myself am not interested in the area selection widget, I've tried a version of it and it didn't instantly click with me. I know you can apply some good filtering to the units you click though.

Yes indeed, I almost never use selection box, my hotkey system allow any combination of key/click (like SPACE + 1, A+B, 1+LClick etc...) and even accounting for long press, double press, spam, mouse still ... even each same hotkey can have different action depending on context, or cycling through different action when repeated. So basically I have everything under the fingers, without having to go accross the keyboard. The only thing I don't have anymore is the control group, but I could still implement them with some tweaking of the code in the future.

Be careful, widgets are subject to HUGE addiction and many bots perished from this practice. Forgotten by the widget.

It's called widgetism, I guess you should research on it before going too deep.

I have seen too many glaives die because not moving, you could tell it's a sacrifice for the great of good, but damn I think those scenes will haunt until the grave.

Thanks for that <3, the attrition thing is activable ingame at Settings/HUD panels/Extras => Toggle Attrition Counter
