Lessons Learned, featuring PLT_Godde:
1) Maces do nothing against Moderators. Outranging them works, and swarming them with cheaper units also works, but Maces do neither.
2) It takes four Daggers to favorably engage one Pyro.
3) Repair after fighting Pyros! Their pokes take off several hundred HP from each unit.
4) Solar's durability advantage over wind matters a lot in the first five minutes or so, if raided.
5) I should be making a lot more workers (and fewer riots) on high eco maps. This is a prerequisite to implement the next several lessons.
6) I should be building and protecting radar towers watching the entire front. If they die, I should be rebuilding them. Particularly important when bots can bypass the main choke points.
7) I should be routinely area-reclaiming my own territory after being raided.
8) Due to the increased effectiveness of overdrive on maps with large mex sizes, I should have a dedicated worker making energy until I'm consistently overdriving. (I did for a bit here but a Pyro killed it and I never replaced it)
9) Where practical, when assigning Lance targets I should arrange my orders to make them fire from a standstill. They risk friendly fire while moving.
10) Dagger raiding remains a key tactic in the late game, so I should increase the number in my build loop as I diversify it to keep them as a non negligible cost-fraction of my army.
11) Make sure to re-establish a front line after defeating an enemy assault, even if it's a tenuous one composed of raiders and Lotuses.
12) If I see units auto-retreating, I can engineer a one-sided fight by intercepting them on the way to their repair point. I should also avoid auto-retreat myself while raiding the enemy's rear areas.
