I was thinking a tanky ship with a very long range radar and sight range would be kinda cool.

or maybe make cutter have better los as its currently the worst unit in the whole game.. so much so that some people dont even know what cutter is

and yes i know cutter has good los.. but ship combat is about winning teritory fast.. and that means making actual combat units and rushing.. so cutter tends to be a (make a few and scout).. kind of unit that then gets owled forever after the first few minutes.. they could work vs mono arty/skirms or naked cons but they are a risky metal-sink by the time they have numbers enough to make a difference.. they can help as target distraction but again the cost is prohibitive.. .. no purple players mix them into late or mid game armies.. because literally any other ship could likely help win an unknown battle better..

imo over all cutter is great at scouting with disarm and a weapon that can even kill.. but its one of the most expensive scouts in the game.. and taxes the super tight water game.. imho if it had better los they would become a needed mid-late game water option to rival owl.. becuase you sure arnt using them to win fights.
