I think the techs of a clan should show the source of that tech with a player name.

Through the clan tags of that name we would also know the clan.

OR

We should know all allianced clans who share this tech with us, because there can be 2 or more clans who share this tech.

Techs aren't even working properly afaik. I think everyone gets all techs regardless right now, unless that's changed since I've been on vacation to vegas.
