No sources to download from

Krigsmaskin 10 years ago Running Springlobby on Linux, I get: "The remote server supplied no sources to download the file from." While this occasionally happened before (because possibly there truly where no sources), lately downloading ZK always fails. Is there some recent change that requires the ZK client proper to work, or is there some other way to update ZK? +0 / -0
ElTorero 10 years ago afaik springlobby hasn't been updated for a while and it doesn't support rapid you can (should) change to either zkl, weblobby or notalobby +0 / -0
TheSponge 10 years ago I agree with ElTorero, you really should get ZKL (look at the download page). If all else fails, you can download any version of any Spring game from http://packages.springrts.com/builds/?C=M;O=D. +0 / -0

TheSponge 10 years ago I was going to try flobby but I could never compile it because of an issue with Image Magik or whatever that program is called. Apparently it was unfixable because of a broken package or something. +0 / -0

Krigsmaskin 10 years ago Anarchid: I would have to check when I get home. Probably 0.147 or something ancient like that. I basically compile from source and only update when something breaks. I can probably get by with the manual zk download, but I'll look into upgrading SL too. As for ZK lobby I'm avoiding it for religious reasons(MONO). :D +3 / -0

(as in the program is not supported or distributed with spring anymore) The protocol still exists but the new tool is named pr-downloader: http://springrts.com/wiki/Pr-downloader Springlobby uses pr-downloader since some time and it works. SL is still being updated. One bug is that it does not show download progress, but zK updates are so small it basically is rightclick on game in battlelist->downloader game->it is already done. NeonSturm 10 years ago rapid breaks with python. It needs an old version - you can't install it without de-installing and downgrading half your system. The only thing I miss from it is the good help text in cmd-line. pr-downloader has so many dependencies which aren't linked on the github download page. If weblobby and NOTA wouldn't use it per default with all dependencies I would stuck searching the right ones. +0 / -0
