Event Blobs on Mini-Map

not sure how i did this but since this morning when ever an "event" occurs in game, some ones attacked, pings on the map etc i get a big blob plastered over it on the Mini-map.

it looks like the radar blob but much, much larger i know its not caused from someones structure or com and if i play solo it still happens.

it is ATI driver bug, update video driver - if it does not help try disabling chili minimap widget (F11)

Just for the record - what solved it? Driver upgrade or minimap off?
