Hi,
Most of time command !ring is used for waking all people in room for votes.
But often ZKL works in backgroud and I don't like that people do !ring a every 5 minutes.

I suggest add an option in setting which allows to ring a player only if pattern complety similar to his nick.
i.e. !ring a - will waking all people with "a" in nick in room only if they don't prohibit it.
but !ring [V]Aneque will ring me anyway

What do you thing about this?

Isn't the whole point of the ring command to make sure people in the game who have ZKL in the background get the message that something requires their attention? I could see excluding specs, and as far as votes go I could see having something to let you auto abstain from any vote that comes up, but which suppresses all rings (possibly except a ring when a start vote is in progress).

!ring - Ring the room generally with a bell sound. The sound is quiet and is there to indicate activity.
!buzz player - Make a louder sound to grab the attention of a specific player. Max 2 per minute. Player can choose the sound or disable it in lobby options.
!checkdl - Check how long until everyone's downloads finish. No sound.

Different sounds for different purposes, so I don't have to look at text to check if someone specifically needs me or its just another map vote.

The default for the buzz sound should of course be a random Duke quote.

From my point of view players often overuse this command. If new vote is started then ZKL will play ring sound and I can vote or ignore it. But every time then somebody spam !ring(for the same vote) I hear this sound again and again, also in this case ZKL window is flashing and this take a lot of attention. Sometimes this annoying me.
Yes, of course I can turn off sound or change nick:) But probably there can be a better way.

Lets make !startvotingfinally command, which would shake all players' who haven't voted yet monitors violently and if still ignored make them (monitors) explode.

Profit. Ignored votes problem solved.
