Avast! broke Zero-K. I can't launch it, and when trying to re-install it fails to install. I added it to exceptions and everything and it still isn't starting anymore.
edit: never mind I just had to wipe the cache

it's in the link.
C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0
in my case removing all the folders there fixed it.
you'd want to get Avast off your back first; and I can't guarantee other click-once applications won't lose data by doing that.

I used to like Avast! but the interface changed, it got more advertisy, and has way more false positives than last year. I'm thinking of looking for a different one eventually because it's getting to be a pain- lol

you will have to manually put it in the exception list in
Setting > Active protection > file system shield > Exclusion.
for more info go to this topic

:
it still deletes it and I still have to manually restore it each time.
Avast! is one of those AV that doesn't care one bit for the exclusions list :(

DON'T just click put in exclusion when promp come up [it doesn't work] you have to do it manually,
I am using Avast latest update over here, so unless you have some other program/circumstance it should work the same.
if it doesn't help, I am just as baffled as you are

I solved this problem with exception list. Than Zero-K worked normal.
