The subject.
When I see this my eyes start to bleed with bloody tears, when I see this for longer than 10 sec my head starts to ache and I resign.
Anyone else with the same symptoms?
ASAP.

I'm assuming you are talking about this *great feature* that I made long ago.
If you hate it so much:
/TeamHighlight 0
The thing is, a game that has lagging players should not be allowed to proceed. Uncontrolled units will be a disaster even if you are in a strong team.

This blinking highlight is above I can bear, I will try this thanks

Normally I can see who is lagging with a player list - it shows avg cpu usage of a player and his ping(green, yellow, red).
what about lagers, I see this is a major issue
we have some guys here with really weak PCs who join crowded games on a big maps and make the whole team play at 0.5 game speed
me sad - nothing can be done about it seems :(

I C, but there's another *great feature*:
Vote for a higher game speed by issuing this command:
/SpeedControl 1
If it works, the laggers will be ignored and speed will stay at > 0.8.
If it does not work, more votes may be needed.

what I don't get is why some days, everything seems to be fine, and other days units till just walk in circles or do nothing when told to start moving or stop moving. some days it's really responsive and at other times it's not- it seems like it would be consistent if it was a processor problem?

In the player list, hover your mouse above the CPU icon to see your CPU load percentage. If it is less than 95, I would say that your "lag" is not processor related. Then use the network icon to check your ping. Ping less than 500ms is acceptable.

Actually pings of 2s are fine too as long as you only macro manually and leave micro to unitAI.

GREETINGS CITIZENS!
I have made this awesome widget of justice to bring justice to those who would lag the zk universe!
FOR JUSTICE!
Not sure if it will work or not but its something I typed up real quick. Hope this helps!

Not the most user-friendly perhaps, but it has been in the spring docs for years

Ok, but
http://springrts.com/wiki/UI_commands
should be on main wiki page and not under Lua scripting.
It's not hard to make a widget that uses the value in springsettings and sets that value graphically from user and internally with a textcommand. I like textcommands, they are very flexible and dont clutter the UI.
