3 Hitting Pylons without direct vision with Impalers isn't really feasible. 3 Hitting Pylons without direct vision with Impalers isn't really feasible.

5 Having 50 energy income is something you generally want anyway by the time you'd be thinking of deploying a DDM. The tax is typically in linking the grid, which varies from infeasible to trivial based on circumstance. 5 Having 50 energy income is something you generally want anyway by the time you'd be thinking of deploying a DDM. 7 The situation in which I find DDM most troublesome in smaller-scale games is when one gets rushed in a forward position with benefit of storage. This often does not allow for the luxury of sitting back, building a bunch of artillery, and/or finding a graceful way around. 7 The situation in which I find DDM most troublesome in smaller-scale games is when one gets rushed in a forward position with benefit of storage. 9 DDM is so far as I can see the most generalist porc by a large margin. It deals with light units, heavy units (Goliaths can muscle through, but Reapers do badly and I'd not attempt it with a Dante) and air to some degree, all in one. Even if the grid is temporarily taken offline (which is meant to be its Achilles heel) it's nontrivial to kill. 9 DDM is so far as I can see the most generalist porc by a large margin. 11 On some maps, "attack elsewhere" is not feasible. So far as I'm concerned these are stupid maps but people do persist in playing them. 11 On some maps, "attack elsewhere" is not feasible. So far as I'm concerned these are stupid maps but people do persist in playing them.

15 Here's a question. Why does the DDM have a heatray at all? 15 Here's a question. Why does the DDM have a heatray at all? With only its main cannon it would still be fearsome but be at least a tiny bit swarmable.
