you didnt "nerf" athena as a second factory, you removed it. perhaps it was the best second fac choice whenever you needed specialist units, and maybe it was a bit too good at it, but i cant remember seeing a spectacular amount of athena 2nd fac usage in competetive games, so it probably wasnt that great.
