While the ^ above post is example of absolutely unnecessary "red herring" style argument, it all boils down to "is there anyone wanting to volunteer doing same on Linux servers", who is also able to prove having necessary skill set and at least basic trustworthiness? I guess that current answer is "no".

On the purely meritocratic terms, self-maintaining servers on Linux would provide - in "gains" department - more flexibility and less risk of incompatibility with future version of whatever micro$oft throws at it users (and future cost of upgrading "depreciated" software).
