So the main issue here is that autohosts are perceived (by at least you) to be bad compared to a benign dictator, and people want to have a benign dictator for the clusterhost strongly enough to accept the risk of the dictator sometimes being less benign?

My imagination serves me at least a few more ways to do that.

- When losing, enable cheats and spawn arbitrary units, then disable cheats.
|
|

- !endvote any vote you dislike. Enemy player is griefing and they want to kick him from the team for TK? Nah, they deserve to lose for having that lobster on team. Denied.
